Profhilo® is an injectable hyaluronic-acid treatment designed to support skin hydration, elasticity and tissue remodelling without intentionally changing your facial shape.
Rather than creating the projection or contour associated with conventional dermal filler, Profhilo distributes through the tissues following treatment. It may be considered for skin that appears dry, crepey, less firm or affected by early laxity.

What Is Profhilo®?
Profhilo is formulated with stabilised hybrid complexes of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally within the body and plays an important role in maintaining tissue hydration.
Profhilo is described as a bio-remodelling injectable because its purpose is to improve skin quality and elasticity rather than create a defined facial contour. It is not intended to provide the same structural volume or reshaping associated with conventional dermal fillers.

First Treatment
Where clinically suitable, Profhilo is administered at carefully selected points beneath the skin. A commonly used facial approach involves Bio Aesthetic Points positioned to support product distribution while respecting facial anatomy.
Second Treatment
An initial course commonly includes a second appointment approximately four weeks later. This schedule may be adjusted according to your skin, response and individual treatment plan.
Your response can be assessed after the initial course. Maintenance may be considered later, depending on your skin, lifestyle and treatment goals.
The number and frequency of treatments vary between patients. A particular outcome or duration cannot be guaranteed.

When Might I Notice a Difference?
Profhilo does not produce the defined or immediate contour associated with conventional filler. Changes generally develop progressively during and after the initial treatment course.
Patients may notice improvements in hydration, smoothness or skin quality as the tissues respond. The degree and timing of change vary according to factors including age, skin condition, lifestyle and individual response.
Results and duration vary, and maintenance may be recommended following reassessment.
Is There Any Downtime After Profhilo?
Small raised areas may be visible at the treatment points immediately afterwards. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, itching or bruising may also occur. These effects commonly settle, although recovery differs between patients.
Less common complications can include infection, inflammatory reactions, persistent swelling, nodules and vascular compromise. The relevant risks, warning signs and aftercare instructions will be explained before treatment.
