HArmonyCa™ Treatment Manchester & Liverpool

Hybrid injectable treatment for facial structure and collagen support

HArmonyCa™ Treatment in Manchester & Liverpool

Hybrid injectable treatment for facial structure and collagen support

HArmonyCa™ is a hybrid injectable combining hyaluronic acid with calcium hydroxyapatite. The hyaluronic-acid component provides initial soft-tissue support, while calcium-hydroxyapatite microspheres are designed to support gradual collagen production within the treated tissues.

It may be considered for selected patients experiencing reduced facial support, changes in contour or age-related decline in skin firmness.

HArmonyCa is not a conventional skin booster and is different from both hyaluronic-acid-only dermal fillers and gradual collagen-stimulating treatments such as Sculptra®. Product selection depends on your anatomy, skin quality, treatment goals and the areas requiring support.

Every treatment begins with a detailed face-to-face consultation and is performed by Jaime Correia, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber with more than 20 years of NHS clinical experience and over 15 years in facial aesthetics.

What Is HArmonyCa™?

HArmonyCa is an injectable facial implant containing two principal components:

Hyaluronic acid provides initial volume and soft-tissue support. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the body and is widely used in injectable aesthetic treatments.

Calcium hydroxyapatite is present as microspheres suspended within the hyaluronic-acid gel. It supports the body’s collagen-production response, allowing changes in tissue quality and support to develop progressively.

This combination means HArmonyCa can provide an initial structural effect while supporting longer-term changes associated with collagen production.

Who May Benefit from Facial Structure and Collagen Support?

  • Reduced facial support

  • Early or moderate changes in facial contour

  • Reduced skin firmness

  • Changes in the lateral face

  • Reduced lower-face definition

  • Age-related changes in tissue quality

  • Patients wanting structural support with gradual collagen stimulation

HArmonyCa cannot correct every form of facial laxity, volume loss or skin ageing. More advanced laxity may require another treatment approach or specialist surgical assessment.

HArmonyCa Treatment Areas

HArmonyCa is intended for deep dermal and subdermal placement in specified facial regions. The areas treated will depend on the current product instructions, your anatomy and Jaime’s clinical assessment.

Treatment may be considered for selected areas of the:

  • Lateral face

  • Cheek-support region

  • Lower face

  • Jawline-support region

HArmonyCa is not suitable for every facial area. It should not be treated as an interchangeable substitute for lip filler, tear-trough filler or other products designed for delicate or highly mobile regions.

Jaime will explain precisely where treatment is being proposed, why that area is appropriate and what degree of improvement can realistically be expected.

How Is HArmonyCa Different?

HArmonyCa --- Initial structural support combined with calcium-hydroxyapatite collagen stimulation

Hyaluronic-acid dermal filler --- Targeted volume restoration and facial contouring

Sculptra --- Gradual collagen stimulation and structural rejuvenation

Profhilo --- Injectable bio-remodelling, hydration and elasticity

Skin boosters --- Hydration, texture and overall skin quality

Polynucleotides --- Regenerative support for skin quality and elasticity

No single injectable is best for every patient. In some cases, a different product—or no treatment—will be more appropriate.

When Might I Notice a Difference?

An initial change in facial support may be visible following treatment, although swelling can temporarily influence the appearance of the result.

Further changes may develop progressively as the tissues respond to the calcium-hydroxyapatite component. The degree and duration of improvement vary according to anatomy, age, skin quality, lifestyle and individual response.

HArmonyCa does not stop the natural ageing process, and maintenance may be considered following reassessment.

HArmonyCa Recovery, Side Effects and Risks

Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, firmness, itching, bruising or asymmetry can occur after treatment. The injected material may also be palpable while it integrates with the surrounding tissues.

Less common complications can include infection, delayed inflammatory reactions, persistent nodules, granulomas, migration, prolonged firmness and an unsatisfactory aesthetic result. Some complications may be difficult to correct because the calcium-hydroxyapatite component cannot be dissolved like conventional hyaluronic-acid filler.

Frequently asked questions.

What is HArmonyCa?

HArmonyCa is a hybrid facial injectable treatment that combines hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) into a single product to lift and rejuvenate the skin

Is HArmonyCa a dermal filler or a collagen stimulator?

HArmonyCa is both—it is classified as a hybrid injectable that combines a dermal filler and a collagen stimulator in a single treatment.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA - The Filler): This ingredient provides immediate volume, hydration, and a soft lifting effect right after treatment, much like traditional dermal fillers.

Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA - The Stimulator): This component consists of microspheres that act as a biostimulator. Over the following weeks and months, it prompts your skin to produce its own natural collagen, improving long-term firmness and elasticity.

How does HArmonyCa differ from Sculptra?

HArmonyCa is a hybrid injectable that combines hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite for immediate volume and long-term collagen stimulation, whereas Sculptra is a pure biostimulator made of poly-L-lactic acid that relies entirely on a gradual process to rebuild the skin's collagen over several months

Who may be suitable?

HArmonyCa treatment is generally suitable for adults aged 18 and over—most commonly from their late 30s onward—who are experiencing early-to-moderate signs of facial aging.

  • Volume Loss: Mild-to-moderate depletion in the cheeks, mid-face, or jawline.

  • Skin Laxity: Early sagging, loss of definition, or accordion lines.

  • Desire for Dual Action: A wish for both the immediate lifting effect of hyaluronic acid and the long-term collagen stimulation provided by calcium hydroxyapatite.

  • Preference for Natural Results: A goal to refresh facial contours gradually without surgery.

How long may the effects last?

HArmonyCa hybrid filler typically lasts between 12 and 18 months, with some patients experiencing benefits for up to 24 months

Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes, HArmonyCa (often called a harmonica or hybrid filler) can be safely and effectively combined with several other aesthetic treatments
