Lowers Appetite – Reduces cravings and hunger signals in the brain.
Improves Insulin Sensitivity – Helps the body regulate blood sugar, preventing fat storage.

Lasting Effect

The duration of Mounjaro's effectiveness and how long it remains in your system depends on several factors, including your treatment plan, weight loss goals, and health status. Here's a breakdown:

Mounjaro is a long-acting injectable with effects lasting about 1 week after each injection.
Weekly injections are required for continuous blood sugar regulation and weight loss benefits.

Initial weight loss: Many people start to see weight loss results after 4–12 weeks of use.
Sustained weight loss: For long-term use, some patients continue to lose weight for up to 6–12 months, with some even experiencing 20–22.5% weight loss over 72 weeks.
Maintenance phase: After reaching a desired weight, the provider may adjust the dose or discontinue the treatment, but lifestyle changes (diet and exercise) are essential to maintain results.
